Kersverse Miss Nederland en rolmodel binnen de QUEER-community, Rikkie Valerie Kollé, heeft vandaag de allereerste herdenkingsmunt voor LHBTI+ belangenorganisatie COC Nederland onthuld. De onthulling vond plaats op een bijzondere locatie: Paleis Soestdijk, waar voormalig koningin Juliana in 1973 de officiële erkenning van het COC ondertekende. 50 jaar later is de herdenkingsmunt een eerbetoon aan al het werk dat de organisatie heeft verricht, maar ook een reminder aan het werk dat nog in het verschiet ligt. De munt is nu verkrijgbaar op onze website.

Today, the Royal Dutch Mint launches 50 silver sunflowers with glass enamel to celebrate 50 years Van Gogh Museum. The sunflowers are handmade by the silversmiths in the studio of the Royal Dutch Mint, and are based on the famous painting Sunflowers (1889) by Vincent van Gogh. The very first issue was handed over this morning to Rob Groot, business director of the Van Gogh Museum.

Amsterdam – Julian Moon (Head of Consumer Products EMEA & Asia Pacific, Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products) received the very first 100 years of Warner Bros. commemorative coin during the Candlelight Concert in Amsterdam.
